WHAT’S N O T IN MY BAG

A few weeks ago I was asked to do an update on my What’s in my bag-post. I thought I’d rather share what things are not in it but I really need every day:

What you see here is not a lipstick but a power bank. I know it’s kinda corny but I still love it because I used to have a really cute gold power bank with one major problem: It didn’t have a on/off button which makes pretty no sense to me at all. Every time I needed it that thing was empty even if I fully charged it. I’m not sure if I just bought one that doesn’t work properly or if the product is just not properly well thought out. Well nevermind. I got this lipstick power bank in the Philippines as a present when I bought something at the department store during holiday season. First thing I checked was if it had the button. The first two days I always had it with me. Why is it not in my bag? It would be a life saver sometimes believe me. But honestly I always forget to charge it.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM

Every time I use the public transportation I’m kind of disgusted by the thought on the bacteria that I’m carrying with me throughout the day. A hand-sanitizer would always be a great idea while heading to the nearest rest room to wash my hands. Major problem: Lately I switched to a small cross-body bag and only my essentials would fit in there. My wallet is almost the same size like my bag already.

MOM, DAD – I DO UNDERSTAND…

Well. My parents and grand parents always tell me that every lady should have a pack of tissue in her bag. Well if this is right and proper I’m not a lady and I’ve never been. Even if they have a point I always forget to bring a pack of tissue paper with me and always end up being in need of some. Mom, Dad … I know what you’re saying.

TOUCH UPS

Here are things that I used to have in a ‘little’ make-up bag which has the same size like my cross-body bag: A make-up cushion, a little bottle of fixing spray and red and/or nude lipsticks for touch-ups. Since the make-up bag won’t fit in my bag I don’t bring these things with me anymore. I just don’t like the fact that my make-up is just rolling around loose in my bag. We all know it could end up ruining everything that’s in there.

SOMETHING THAT STRESSES ME OUT

Yes, sorry to disappoint you. I do smoke. And I forget to bring my lighter very often, which really stresses me out. (AND yes, you see right. I’m the owner of a lighter that looks like a lipstick too).

LET’S TALK BUSINESS

I do have business cards. I think the purpose of having them is that other people except you get to see and use them. Sadly they used to be one of the deco-items on my desk. I promise myself to work on that.

JUST NOT RIGHT

There are situations where I forget to change the lens on my camera. Well, … not that easy to take a good shot.

Writing this I think the main key is to switch to a bigger bag again but a cross-body bag just feels so comfortable! By the way: I do not carry petals in my bag everyday. I just thought it would add a little more cutie-factor to the pics ;P

Let me know in the comment section: What items do you forget to bring with you and it upsets you throughout the day?
